Another New iPod Game, BOMBERMAN

Best known to fans of Nintendo and NEC game consoles from the 1980s, Hudson Soft’s Bomberman has been released as a downloadable iPod game. The $4.99 title—third on today’s list of brand-new iPod games—places you in control of a robot who uses bombs to make his way through mazes full of enemies and obstacles. Bomberman includes 20 levels, an iPod-exclusive boss challenge, and three mini games: Bomb Rollin’, Bomb Buster, and Bowling for Bombs. It works with fifth-generation iPods, third-generation iPod nanos, and iPod classics.

1.2.3 Firmware Update for 5G/5.5G iPods

Apple has again released a new firmware update - version 1.2.3 - for the 5th generation iPods (including the 5.5G).
This version fixes a few small bugs in the previous 1.2.2 firmware, including problems with
Windows 2000 and iTunes lower than 7.5.

Download and install the update through iTunes, but beware that it will make your modifications (iPodWizard and otherwise)
disappear.

1.1.2 Firmware Update for iPod Touch + iPhone
Apple have just released a firmware update for the iPhone and iPod Touch, bringing them up to version 1.1.2.
This update is available through
iTunes, but it has been reported by some sources that only certain people have been able to access the update (not every iTunes installation is finding the new update). If this is the case for you, make sure you update to iTunes 7.5 and try again.

Reports indicate the addition of an "Add Event" function to the calendar, finally allowing the user to add and edit new events (fixing a previous "bug").
